I am excited about the Christmas offering of my first series novel, Tainted Legacy, and my latest short story, The Case of the Pilfered Painting. Both will be discounted the week before Christmas, Tainted Legacy as part of Amazon's Countdown program, and The Case of the Pilfered Painting with a Smashwords coupon. The short story is a cozy, the same genre as another short story, Temporarily Away, that is selling well. If you find yourself at odds over the holiday season, stop in and check out either of these offerings. Happy Holidays to all.

The August 6 interview feature on Sharon Stevenson's blog was very well done. Thank you, Sharon.
This month has two exciting events occurring. I have joined AskDavid, a super promotion site I learned about through my reading group. I just reviewed my listings; everything looks great and launches today.
Another site, Uncovered Books, which is brand new and launches on August 26, will also showcase my works.
I am excited about having my work represented on these sites and gaining access to the many markets in which they participate.
Looking forward to good things happening soon.
Thank you for stopping by.

Pleasantly surprised with Smashwords' July summer sale. My short stories got a lot of traffic and sales of my novels jumped. Very gratifying.
Writers' conference coming up next month; lots of attractions scheduled; looking forward to it.
Right now am concentrating on promoting my work. On August 6, I have an interview scheduled on Sharon Stevenson's blogsite, Moonfruit. Anxious to see how it goes.
After the conference, I plan to start my next project, a western (unless I change my mind and get involved in another Sid Langdon mystery). Decisions, decisions.
Thank you for stopping by.

My new novel, While My Love Sleeps, is now available as an e-book--
"When aristocratic Karl, Graf von Abensberg, heir to a centuries-old title, married commoner Leda Devoe, he told her he needed her strength, her courage, and her love. Soon all three are tested when Karl is injured in an explosion that leaves him in a deep coma, and Leda is all that stands between him and those who would rob him of his property, his fortune, and his very life. Will her courage and determination be enough to save the man she loves? They will have to be, for in her heart of hearts, Leda knows that if her beautiful husband's life is over, then so is her own."
It's also on Smashwords, ISBN 9781301833498
I think it's a beautiful book and a beautiful story. I hope you like it.

Just finished final edit on my romance novel (no steamy sex, sorry). Hope to have it ready to publish next month. Currently looking for suitable cover.

Hello. Thought I'd better drop a brief word that I have been busy lately turning my e-novels into paperbacks! Very excited about this transition and the expanded distribution my works will soon be exposed to. I have two books done, and three more are in the proof stage. In the meantime, while waiting for the proof copies to arrive, I am working on my romance and that too is going well.
Best to all. More later.

A few weeks ago, I found out the covers for all my novels and short stories were, because of new requirements by their customers, too small for distribution by Amazon and Smashwords and would have to be replaced. I have spent the last two weeks doing just that. Fortunately I was able to purchase suitable images and finish the covers myself; I am pleased with all of them. They are all back up and available for sale.
I am caught up to the extent that I am about to resume work on my romance novel, which I have woefully neglected since last Thanksgiving. Just too much to do. But I will get back to it presently and certainly hope to have it ready by the end of this year, at least.
I hope everyone had a pleasant holiday season and wish you all the best for the coming year.
